Since 2009, Family Planning International has been undertaking research on sexual and reproductive health issues in the Pacific region to support and inform our advocacy and in-country project work.
Evidence-based information is important for Family Planning International to be able to undertake quality advocacy and project activities.
Through the information we gather we learn where the needs are highest, where data gaps are, and we can target our work more effectively. We are also better able to inform others of the sexual and reproductive health situation in the region we work, increasing understanding and support for the important role sexual and reproductive health plays in development.
